Aryan Khan Drug case took a u-turn yesterday when a bodyguard of sole witness alleged extortion of Rs 25 crore by NCB officials. This has put NCB and Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, in trouble. They have filed affidavits in an NDPS court today.
Drugs-on-cruise-case | Appearing before Special NDPS court, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede told the judge that he was being targeted and is ready for a probe.
Two affidavits have been filed in the case. One by NCB and one by Wankhede.

Sameer reached the Mumbai sessions court on Monday morning and said he is ready for further investigation. “I am open for any kind of investigation or inquiry. I have 15 years of record. But such allegations only to target my personal life and work is not done,” said Wankhede.

He also said that his family members are also being targeted. According to ANI, he requested the court to take necessary actions and prevent attempts to delay or tamper evidence so that investigation can be done smoothly. He told these allegations are false and he is targeted because of his senior position.
“Why are there allegations against my family members? Is it only to divert me and make me fail in court,” said Sameer Wankhede.
A day earlier, the witness of Aryan Khan drug case Prabkhakar Sail put allegations on NCB for seeking Rs 25 crore on the day Aryan was arrested. He also said they settled to Rs 18 crore in which Rs 8 crore would have to be given to Wankhede as his share.
Sail also claimed that NCB asked him to sign blank papers. The name of a private investigator KP Gosavi who is also in charge of the case is also involved in it.
