Argentina vs France- Messi lifts the World Cup!!

Argentina vs France: Fifa World Cup 2022 final was full of uncertainties with action-packed thrill between the two contenders. Argentina held the game's grip until the very last moments but then the France star Kylian Mbappe made an appearance and throttle his team with a boost of two back-to-back goals. 

Argentina vs France: Messi Scores the First Goal  

Argentina GOAT footballer and Messi's most reliable assistant from the team, Di Maria, insisted pressure on France swiftly move toward the goalpost. That made the young France winger Dembele tackle him from behind that causing Di Maria to falter and lose possession.

The referee took no time in giving a foul favoring Argentina that led to a penalty as the foul was done inside the D-box and that led to a match-moment for the Argentina fans as Messi was about to take the penalty and without any delay, he didn't miss and scored the first goal for his team.

The team celebrated after the goal as if they already lifted the World Cup. Soon after that Di Maria scored a second goal for Argentina in the first half itself securing Argentina's victory. The match didn't go in favor of France after that. Moreover, Argentina dominated with possession for most of the time in the match.

The match went on a drastic change in the 80th minute when Mbappe scored a goal with a penalty and not only that he scored another goal the very next minute making the score 2-2. All hopes for the Argentina fans shattered at once.

Now the match was once again at a point where it could turn in anyone's favor. The match went into extra time and Messi scored for his team with just 12 minutes remaining in the game. Now Argentina was leading and they just had to defend for a few more minutes.

France's team started to burst out with several attempts and the rage ended up causing an uncertain handball from the Argentinian defender gifting a penalty to France. Mbappe scored the third goal for France making the score 3-3 with just 3 minutes left in the match. 

Argentina vs France: Penalty Shootout 

The World Cup Final ship finally arrives at the dockyard and the penalty shootout opts for the true winner. Argentina and France both made substitutes in the extra time to bring their best penalty shooters into the field as it was very likely to commence. Argentina especially brought Paulo Dybala and Martinez for the cause and they both scored a sensible goal for the team.

The Legend vs The Young: The best from both sides Messi and Mbappe took the first attempt and they both scored for their teams. Both teams were left with four attempts each. 

Argentina scores in their second chance but France misses the penalty. The game has changed now and then in the third chance the same thing happens again and now Argentina requires just one right hit and they will be the World Champions and they didn't miss.

The living legend and Greatest of All Time (GOAT) finally lift the World Cup and achieves the greatest reward that the game could offer. As Messi win the World Cup, Maradona would have smiled from Heaven and blessed him for what he has achieved. 

Sachin Tendulkar another GOAT famously known as the God of Cricket shared a tweet that mentioned a few stats of his that were very similar to that of Messi. Messi and Sachin are very much identical as they both share similar natures in the game and personal life as well.
