In July 2022, Apple unveiled the 13-inch M2-powered MacBook Air laptop. Now, the tech giant is reportedly working on a 15-inch MacBook Air model which is anticipated to launch in 2023 and is likely to be equipped with the M2 chip.
However, as per a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the 12-inch MacBook with Apple silicon which was rumoured to be released this year may not make its debut until 2023.
15-inch MacBook Air with M2: Key highlights

According to the report, the 15-inch MacBook Air is anticipated to have a design similar to the latest 13-inch model, and is expected to be offered with Apple Silicon M2 and M2 Pro chips. A few details about this device have already been revealed.
Besides this, Ross Young, a display analyst, stated last month that the firm’s suppliers are expected to begin fabricating 15.5-inch screens for the forthcoming laptop in the beginning of 2021. Additionally, recent speculation has it that Apple is developing a 15.5-inch MacBook Air which could be released in the spring of 2023.

The newest MacBook Air could be the largest model to date, with a 15-inch screen and a range of upgraded features such as a MagSafe charging port, a 1080p camera, and an improved speaker system. This would make it larger than the usual 14 to 16 inch Apple MacBook Pro laptops.
13-inch MacBook Air with M2: Key specs
The 13-inch MacBook Air is equipped with Apple’s M2 chipset and a Liquid Retina display with True Tone. It also comes with a 1080p FaceTime HD camera and a MagSafe 3 charging port.

Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt ports and two USB 4.0 ports. It also has a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and a Force Touch trackpad. This laptop starts at Rs 1,19,900 and can be charged with 30W USB-C.
