Apple has faced a huge backlash due to its costly Apple AirPods. Due to this, Apple will launch its new product in an affordable range called Apple AirPods Lite. The Lite version will be kept at such a price that it could compete with the other competitive brands in the market.
Apple AirPods Lite Price and Specs
The Apple AirPods Lite is currently in the making and will soon appear in the market at an affordable price. The AirPods Lite price is expected to fall somewhere around 179 USD (INR 10,700). Apple previously launched various versions that include- AirPods 2nd generation, AirPods 3, AirPods Pro 2nd generation, and AirPods Max.
The Apple AirPods 2nd generation costs around Rs. 26,900 in India. Overall, the other versions of Apple AirPods can cost from Rs. 14,900 to Rs. 59,900. The Apple Airpods Max is the most expensive of all.

Recently, Apple launched its AirPods 2nd generation in September 2022. It features excellent noise cancellation and has improvised sound dynamics. The device also comes up with a new UI chipset known for precision finding.
The main cause that insisted the production of Apple AirPods Lite was that due to the high price the sale of Apple AirPods have significantly fallen in the last few months. The TWS earbuds have been replaced by other branded specimens that provide similar specs at an affordable price.
The company has seen a huge decline in sales of AirPods in India. AirPods shipments faced a 12% loss causing a fall from 73 million (2022) to 63 million (2023). Due to this, Apple has begun to manufacture Apple AirPods Lite to revive its position in the market. Moreover, the company has announced that it won’t be releasing new model this year.
