"Apology Is Not Enough" Says BJP MLA Ram Kadam To Tandav's Filmmaker

Tandav filmmakers and actor Saif Ali Khan troubles double as two FIRs have been lodged in the Hazratganj Police Station of Lucknow and Rabupura Police Station of Noida against them.

Beside them, Sunil Grover and Dimple Kapadia’s name are also filed as per the sources for hurting religious sentiments of Hindu. Filmmaker, Ali Abbas Zafar has already clarify that the series is a pure work of fiction.

But seeing the Tandav gaining a real political color, Ali has released an official statement as an apology for hurting religious sentiments unintentionally. Furthermore, we are working with Information & Broadcasting department to resolve the whole issue, said Ali.

In his official statement of apology, Ali also asked the audience and protestors to be patient and wait for an effective solution to the raised concern. Here’s what Ali tweeted yesterday.

However, some users are still not happy with his clarification and asking for a fair action on the movie makers and actors.

And not just fans, but the BJP MLA Ram Kadam has also raised questions over the web series and Saif Ali Khan’s choice. He asked actor to clarify his reason to signing Tandav and his role in the controversy.

Many supporters agree to Ram Kadam’s question and have also followed him for lodging a complaint against the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Due to intense political pressure by few leaders, Tandav’s cast and crew has to apologies which does not seem enough for the BJP leader.
