Although there is yet a lot to uncover, it is known that it will be directed by Badhaai Ho fame Amit Ravindernath Sharma, and will star National Award Winner Keerthy Suresh and Bengali Actor Rudranil Ghosh in other significant roles.
Elated and proud to announce a story never told as @ZeeStudios_ #BoneyKapoor & @freshlimefilms come together for a biopic on India’s legendary #Football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim, starring @ajaydevgn, directed by @CinemaPuraDesi, screenplay by @SaiwynQ, and dialogues by @writish. pic.twitter.com/vzaLJya67x

The movie will majorly focus on the throwback to the time when the Indian Football Team won Asian Games twice, in 1951 and 1962.
FYI those two are India’s only Asian Games Titles in Football so far.
Bollywood being on the path of breaking the prejudice of making typical masala movies, we think this is a welcome change!
Hope this turns out to be as good as our anticipations!
