‘Animal 2’ will be shot in 2026
Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently attended an awards ceremony, where he also received an award. While accepting the award, the hosts asked him to give some details about ‘Animal Park’, the sequel to ‘Animal’ starring Ranbir Kapoor. Then he said that the film would go on the floors in 2026. He also said that ‘Animal Park’ will be bigger and wilder than ‘Animal’, a claim he has made earlier also.
When he was asked about a Sandeep Reddy cinematic universe where Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Deverakonda, and Prabhas might share the screen, he said that though he had never thought about it, it sounded interesting. He also shared that if ‘Animal’ was made in Tamil, Suriya would have been best suited for it.

During a latest verbal exchange with actor and stand-up comic Anubhav Singh Bassi for Netflix India,, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that the story of Animal was unknown to many during its making. He shared that Bobby Deol had no idea about the story and that Anil Kapoor knew the father-son story. But there were many aspects where Sandeep Reddy Vanga was very secretive about his script.
About Animal Park, Ranbir said, “She (Vanga) has one or two scenes ready, which she narrated to me, and they are very exciting. Now, because of the success of part one, she also has the confidence and courage to do it. ” Deeper, darker and more complex he can do anything.”
