Airtel has recently made some changes in some of its Airtel prepaid plans. The reason for these changes is that the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued new guidelines under which network operators need to offer special tariff vouchers (STVs) with voice and SMS services.
Airtel prepaid plan of Rs 509
The validity of this new Airtel prepaid plan of Rs 509 is 84 days. For those users who do not need mobile data and want unlimited voice calls, then this plan is best for them. 900 free SMS are available in this recharge. Apart from all this, this recharge plan of Airtel also offers the facility of Airtel Xstream app, Apollo 24/7 Circle membership and free Hello Tunes.
Earlier, in the plan of Rs 509, 6GB mobile data was being offered to the customers, which means that the revised plan now offers less benefits than before.
Rs 1,999 annual Airtel prepaid plan
Airtel has also made changes to the Rs 1999 prepaid plan. Earlier this plan offered unlimited voice calls, 3000 free SMS and 24GB mobile data. But now Airtel has completely removed the mobile data benefit from this plan.
