Adivi Sesh Exposes the Dark Side of Telugu Cinema

Bhadra from Bahubali: The Begining, Adivi Sesh has come into the limelight recently. His previous films Hit 2: The Second Case and Major have been blockbusters this year.

In the recent interaction, Adivi revealed that he started co-writing his own films. When the reporters asked him why he came up with a shocking answer.

In his statement, Adivi Sesh finds pointed out the no-auditioning culture in the Telegu film industry.

According to him, an outsider can’t even audition for the lead role, they all go to the actor who belongs to popular film families. Outsiders only get the roles of the hero’s friend or character similar to that.

He also claims that there are only 20 good scripts and the number of heroes is very high, so he doesn’t stand a chance. That is why he starts writing his own script. Adivi Sesh

In his words, “Four out of my last six films were co-written by me, in collaboration with the director. When you come from outside, people don’t offer you. You’re not being considered.”

“I was tired of it. Upar se wahan par ek-ek family mein dus-dus hero hote hain (each film family has ten heroes there). So, for a good script to come by you, you are like choice number 53. And there are only 20 good scripts so it became only easier to start writing.”
