Pakistan Army has expressed condolences on the unfortunate death of first Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat. Mrs. Madhulika Rawat, wife of Rawat, and 11 others have also died in the IAF helicopter crash.
Spokesperson of Pakistan Army, Babar Iftikhar wrote in a tweet, “Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Nadeem Raza and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, condoles the tragic death of General Bipin Rawat and his wife in a helicopter crash.”
An official account of the Pakistan Air Force has also put forward the words of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.

Pakistan Army Salutes General Bipin Rawat
The entire Indian Army including current and former officials has expressed grief over the death of Bipin Rawat. Prayers for his family have arrived from the cross borders as well where former Pakistani military officer Major Adil Raja showed the spirit of soldiers.
Veteran Brigadier R S Pathania replied to this and said, “That’s what is expected from a soldier. Salute you.” See the tweet here
