The city of Lake has a world-class railway station which is today inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Habibganj Railway station is now officially Rani Kamlapati Station. It has state-of-the-art architecture and facilities that give no less than the feel of being at the airport.

During the Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas, PM Modi said while addressing the country ” taxpayers always expect these kinds of facilities. It is an honor for taxpayers.” He also called the transformation EIP ” Every Person Is Important.”
From common travelers to the physically disabled, everyone can easily access the services here. The station has separate entry as well as exit points to prevent any stampede or crowd on the platforms.

High-speed escalators are also equipped at several points. It also has lift and a wide-open concourse that can accommodate around 1000 passengers at once.

They can enjoy food comfortably at the Food courts and restaurants built here. Apart from these, the station has better safety and security facilities too. More than 100 CCTV cameras are installed in different locations for 24×7 surveillance.
