The much-awaited trip of US President Donald Trump is finally here. India is all set to welcome Trump through an event, ‘Namaste Trump’, in Ahmedabad
Today is the big day when India will welcome Donald Trump, first lady and Melania at Ahmedabad Airport. This has been a much-awaited and exciting trip that Trump had been planning for a very long time.
They will arrive today at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at 11:40 am.
People were eagerly waiting for the ‘Namaste Trump’ event that is going to be held at the newly constructed, Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad at 1 pm. He will be accompanied by PM Narendra Modi from Airport to the event. Along his way to the stadium, he will be welcomed by thousands of people through a massive roadshow.
He will then mark his presence at India’s most iconic monument, Taj Mahal, in Agra, UP. The city has undergone a major transformation ahead of Trump’s visit by UP’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Trump along with the first lady, Melania, daughter Ivanka, and son-in-law Jared Kushner will visit Taj Mahal.
After his Taj Mahal visit, Trump will then visit Delhi as per his scheduled program. In Delhi, he will be discussing bilateral and regional issues. In his talk, he will also include investment, counterterrorism, trade, religious freedom, defense, and security.
