Weekends come as a stress buster with a pile of shows you can watch and chill. This weekend the grand Emmy Awards Show was hosted which nominated many deserved shows. The 71st Emmy Awards held at L.A was attended by many people and we also saw a little reunion of the Game Of Thrones cast.

Here are some shows which you must watch on a weekend to go through a good cinematic and visual experience.

1. Game Of Thrones

The epic drama and incredible storyline of GoT bagged 10 Emmy Awards. The viewers had mixed thoughts about the show. Some liked the entire series whereas some liked some seasons. The show and the cast have every element of entertainment but the Season 8 swipes it all.

This season has been the most-watched and appreciated. The entire show has been a celebrated success. This is one show which you must start watching asap if you haven’t already.

The show set much ahead of its time bagged 6 Emmy awards. The awards were won by Jane Lynch and Luke Kirby for their amazing acting. Set in the 1950s the show is about a  Jewish-American housewife who discovers her talent of being a stand-up comedian. Watch this show to know more about the culture and time it represents.

3. Free Solo

A show which aired on Nat Geo swiped many awards in different categories. The non-fiction/documentary programme won an award for best direction and outstanding sound mixing and editing award.

The documentary was about a rock climber Alex Hannold who performed his solo climb on EI Captain located in Yosemite National Park, on June 2017, in the USA. If you are an adventurous and daring soul give yourself the treat to watch this amazing documentary show.

4. The Handmaid’s Tale

The show won awards in the guest category with Bradley Winford winning award for the playing the character of Joseph Lawrence. The show is set in American culture during the times where women faced slavery and religious tyranny.

5. Chernobyl

Chernobyl won seven Emmy Awards which was a huge victory for the well-deserved show. Jacob Ihre’s work on the second episode of Chernobyl nade him win his first awards for the best cinematography.

The show is based on the nuclear disaster of 1986 held at the Soviet Union. The second episode is truly spine-chilling as it shows the events that happened right after the disaster. If you want to live the history then must watch this show.
