Ananya Panday to Make Web Series Debut! Varun Dhawan Introduced Her Stylish Character

After gathering immense popularity and a fan base through Bollywood movies, actress Ananya Panday is all set to make her OTT web series debut. The title of her upcoming series is “Call Me Bae,” which is supposed to release on Amazon Prime Video.

As per the reports, the story of the show was written by Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair along with Ishita Moitra. It will be produced by Dharmatic Entertainment production. Apart from it, Karan Johar, Somen Mishra and Apoorva Mehta will serve as Executive Producers.

The reports also suggest that “Call Me Bae” will be directed by a new director in town, Collin D’Cunha. He is best known for contributing to films like PK, Talaash: The Answers Lies Within, Secret Superstar and Bhaag Mikha Bhaag.

Talking about Ananya Panday, she is going to play the role of a fashion expert in the show “Call Me Bae.” It is a comedy-drama show that will revolve around only this one character.

Ananya Panday to Play A Fashion Expert in Upcoming Series “Call Me Bae,” Varun Dhawan Announced

Taking to his Instagram handle, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan dropped a video to introduce Ananya Panday’s web series “Call Me Bae.” In the video, he is having an argument with Ananya, the fashion expert.

By sharing the video, Varun wrote, “pakki khabar hai guys, @ananyapanday is the new fashionista in the primeverse! Watch this first glimpse and stay tuned. #CallMeBae New Series, Now Filming!”

Plotline of Ananya Panday’s Upcoming Series “Call Me Bae”

“Call Me Bae” is the story of a billionaire girl, Bae (Ananya Panday) who is very careless with her life. The twist comes up in the story when her parents abandoned her because of a salacious scandal. Thereafter, she tries to change herself for the first time in her life and starts her journey to become a fashion expert.

Talking of Ananya’s Bollywood movies, she will next appear in ‘Dream Girl 2’ alongside Ayushman Khurana and ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarash Gaurav.
