2026 Mahindra XUV 7XO Unveiled: New Design, Triple-Screen Cabin

Mahindra has finally reveal its next premium SUV and has given it an equally powerful name, Mahindra XUV 7XO. This SUV will not only carry forward the legacy of the Mahindra XUV 700 but will also set a new Mahindra benchmark in terms of Mahindra technology, design & performance. The company has scheduled its global world premiere for January 5, 2026, and the teaser has already created a buzz in the global SUV & XUV market.

2026 Mahindra XUV 7XO: New design

The teaser of the XUV 7XO only showed glimpses, but those glimpses were enough to understand that its appearance has completely changed this time

• The new front grille now seems to adopt the design language of the Mahindra XEV 9S, while retaining its identity with chrome slats.
• The headlamp setup has also switched to a dual-pod horizontal design.
• The new red shade clearly signals that a new variety will also be added to the color palette.
• Based on the previously seen test mules, changes to the bumper, skid plate, and alloy wheels are considered almost certain.

The biggest attraction in the cabin this time will be the new triple-screen setup, as seen in the XEV9S. Along with this, several premium features could be added to the 7XO, such as massaging front seats

• Multi-colour ambient LED lighting

Mahindra will not compromise on its safety standards, so it is expected to feature:

• 360-degree camera
• Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
• ISOFIX and Level-2 ADAS.

In terms of performance, the Mahindra7XO Performance will continue with the same powertrain lineup offered in the XUV 700

• 2.0L turbo petrol engine (200 PS)
• 2.2L diesel engine l (up to 185 PS)
• 6-speed manual & 6-speed automatic gearbox
• The diesel automatic is also likely to continue offering an AWD option.
