Kawasaki has launched an updated version of one of its bikes. This is a supersport bike, named Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R. Apart from mechanical, many other changes have been made in its model. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R: Price in India
The new Kawasaki ZX-4R is Rs 30,000 more than the previous model. It has been launched in India for Rs 8.79 lakh. It has a powerful engine. In the Indian market, it will compete with bigger models like the Triumph Daytona 660 (Rs 9.72 lakh) and Suzuki GSX-8S (Rs 9.25 lakh).
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R: Suspension, Braking and Features
The Kawasaki ZX-4R is designed on a trellis frame. For comfortable riding, the sports bike has Showa USD front forks and pre-load adjustable rear mono shock suspension. For braking, the bike has 290 mm dual front disc brakes and 220 mm rear disc brakes.
The bike gets dual-channel ABS with Kawasaki Traction Control. Talking about features, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R has a 4.3-inch full-color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The bike has customizable riding modes – Sport, Rain and Road.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R: Engine
The new Kawasaki ZX-4R is powered by a four-cylinder 399 cc engine. This engine generates 75.9 hp of power (or 77 hp with ram air) and 39 Nm of torque. The bike’s engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has a tubular steel frame. It is equipped with Showa suspension at both the front and rear. For braking performance, 290 mm rotors have been used at the front and a dual disc setup has also been provided.
