According to Mohan, the platform is expanding its paid digital goods services, investing in online shopping, and extending its advertising-only offers.

He mentioned a 20% increase in YouTube subscribers with more than six million users who paid for channel memberships in December 2022. Also, Mohan highlighted the significance of preparing YouTube for the future and providing creators with the resources and tools they need to succeed.

CEO Neal Mohan said, this year he will meet even more creators in person and hear “how we can support them on YouTube”.

“Creator feedback is a key part of how we develop products, like a feature that lets creators reach new audiences by adding language tracks to their videos,” he noted.
