Yashoda Movie Review: Action Entertainer of the Weekend

Weekend is here! And one more time, all of us are set to chill out. So, for making your weekend more special, Samantha brings you one more exciting movie “Yashoda” filled with suspense, action and emotion.

The film is her first pan-India theatrical release in five languages Telegu, Kanada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

Makers of Yashoda claim that it is going to be the biggest female-centric movie in Indian history. So, let’s review Samantha Akkineni’s movie Yashoda and see matches the expectations or not.

Yashoda Movie Review

First of all! Yashoda is the story of a surrogate mother (Samantha), who finds out the dark secret of medical mafias. The film is combo suspense, thrill, action, and emotions.

Watch the trailer here.

Talking of its box office impact, a lot of the first-day first-show went houseful in Hyderabad. It is also getting huge attention throughout the different regions of India.

What I like about Yashoda: When I first got into theatre, I was not very much excited about film as it is women-centric. But after first half is over, I don’t even want to take a 15 minutes break.

Because I am freaking out of questions and suspense. And it is the strongest point of the movie. It creates suspense in the first half and shows action in the second.

Although, the film also gets emotions at some point to gain sympathy for Yashoda and establish an attachment with the character.

And I am pretty sure you have no doubt about acting as it is played by Samantha Akkineni. We all have already seen her badass avatar in The Family Man.

Apart from her, there are some other actors who played crucial roles in the movie including Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
