Simply having a big brand name does not ensure that the company is doing well and customers are happy. Their satisfaction and reviews are a real indication of whether a company is best or worst. Around 1541 users have said that they are not satisfied with Meta. The recent survey also opens up the real reason why did Facebook change its name to Meta. One reason is the controversies around companies revealed by their ex-employees.

There were several more reasons including the spread of misinformation and not allowing free communication on the platform. The rise of extremist views and suppression of democracy has put a serious impact on users, as per the survey.

Respondents who are unhappy with the services and operation of Facebook have demanded an apology for the harm. And not just Facebook, they have targeted Meta-owned Instagram and said the social media platform is negatively affecting children’s mental health.

Citing these reasons as the failure of Facebook, respondents said the company’s founder Zuckerberg tried to shift the focus and that is why its name is changed. Not just users but investors are also unhappy with it.
