The Union Cabinet on Monday cleared the Women Reservation Bill in a key gathering led by Head of the state Narendra Modi, declared Association serve Prahlad Patel. The move by the Cabinet caused a lot of buzz, but the government didn’t give the usual press briefing after the Cabinet meeting.

Responding to the turn of events, senior Congress pioneer Jairam Ramesh composed on X, “It’s been a well-established request of the Congress party to carry out ladies’ booking. We invite the announced choice of the Association Bureau and anticipate the subtleties of the Bill. Meeting Attended By These All

The bureau meeting was attended by Association pastors including Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Piyush Goyal, Pralhad Joshi, S Jaishankar, Nirmala Sitharaman, Dharmendra Pradhan, Nitin Gadkari, and Arjun Smash Meghwal.

There has been speculation about a number of bills, including the women’s reservation bill, ever since it was announced that the Parliament session would take place from September 18 to 22.
