Skin Cancer
The development of this type of cancer is due to the uncontrollable growth of new skin cells in the body. Usually the process of generation of new skin cells take place. But the process gets hindered by the growth of abnormal cells.
This can be treated with medications. But if the symptoms are neglected, it can cause serious skin issues. And this collection of cells may be cancerous which will ultimately harm the other tissues of the body.

Types of Skin Cancer
Basal cell carcinoma
The process of new cells getting replaced by old skin cells is done with the help of Basal cells. And this turns into a carcinoma when the uneven process takes place. And this affects the outermost part pf the epidermis . Skin rashes and redness in the skin are early symptoms to this disease.
Squamous cell cancer
Formation of cancer lumps takes place in this type of skin cancer. Squamous cells are generally found in lungs and mucous membranes. This type of cancer is known as the 2nd most common type of skin cancer. Areas that are exposed to sun are more likely to develop this type of cancer.
Melanoma
This is more dangerous than the other two types. As they arise from the Melanocytes, cells that give skin colour. However, they can be treated when detected early. They are generally formed on the chest and leg areas of the body.
Merkel Cell skin cancer
It is the rare form of skin cancer caused by the irregular generation of Merkel cells. It has dangerous effects as it spreads in the body very quickly.
