After a four-year break, Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan is returning to the big screen with films like Pathaan and Jawaan.
But a question pops up in everyone’s mind “why did the industry’s biggest star take this long to release his next film?
So, at the Red Sea International Festival, SRK arrived for promoting Pathaan and talked about the delay. Here’s what he said.
I Waited for My Daughter’s Call” Said Shahrukh Khan 
King Shahrukh Khan is visiting lots of places these days for promoting his upcoming film Pathaan. Recently, the actor participated in the Red Sea International Festival.
During a festival, SRK was asked why did he not work for four years. Then, the actor came up with a beautiful reply.
He said “I was on a break because of my daughter Suhana Khan. She had gone to study in New York and I waited for her call for 8 months.”
“I was thinking Suhana would call me and say ‘I am feeling lonely.’ So, I can be there for her if I am not working for any film.”

SRK continued “But she never called. So, one day, I called her and said, ‘can I start working now?'” Then Suhana replied, “Why are you not working?”
“Then I said ‘I thought you would call me if you feel lonely in New York…’ then she assured me she was fine and I can start working. So, then I did.”
SRK also shared his thoughts about doing an action film. He said “now I want to do action films for the next 10 years. This is why I signed Jawaan and Pathaan.”
