Fans of MS Dhoni got a big shock today as Thala decided to leave his position as Captain of Chennai Super Kings. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will take his place from now onwards. But, fans are not happy with Dhoni leaving so early. They want to know why Dhoni quit the captaincy of CSK.

The real reason behind his decision has not been confirmed by Dhoni himself but the CEO of Chennai Super Kings forwarded what must be in his mind.

Suresh Raina, who has also served as CSK captain, is thrilled and excited to see Jadeja in new role. He has congratulated the new captain of CSK via Twitter “It’s an exciting phase and I’m sure you will live up to all the expectations and love.”

With this, Dhoni’s journey as a captain ended in IPL where he successfully supported and lead team to victory. Chennai Super Kings have won IPL titles four times under Dhoni’s captaincy and fans expect this will continue under the leadership of Jadeja too. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has also given up the test captaincy in 2014.
