A local in Chattisgarh’s Bilaspur was saved by personnel of the IAF Monday morning. He was stuck at Khutaghat Dam due to heavy rain and increasing level of the dam water. To rescue the man, an Mi-17 Chopper was sent for the mission.
The man who jumped into the wastewater weir, sat on a stone to save his life for 16 hours. IAF rescued the man and saved his life.

“Indian Air Force chopper today rescued a man identified as Jitendra Kashyap, at Khutaghat Dam. Due to heavy flow in the dam, IAF was requested to carry out a rescue operation,” Inspector General, Bilaspur Range told NDTV.
