As per the reports, Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi is about to make his OTT debut with Raj and DK’s new web series “Farzi.” Along with him, Shahid Kapoor and Raashi Khanna are also in the lead roles.

In recent interactions with the media, Vijay got offended because the media called him a pan-India star. He also explained why he didn’t like to hear it.

Vijay said, “no sir, I am an actor, I am not comfortable with that pan-India statement. Sometimes that gives pressure also. I am just an actor and no need to put a label under it.”

Dulquer Salmaan

Previously, Sita Ramam star Dulquer Salmaan has also expressed his views on this topic. He said, “The word pan-India really irks me. I just don’t like hearing it.”

“I love that there is so much exchange of talent happening in cinema, it’s great, but we are one country. I don’t think anyone says pan-America. I don’t get it, even though they say it sweetly.”
