As we move into 2023, motorbike lovers eagerly await the arrival of some of the most highly anticipated models. From Royal Enfield to Ducati, brands are ready to release their offerings to the Indian market. Here are a few of the luxury bikes that are scheduled to be released this year.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

At the EICMA 2022 and Rider Mania 2022, Royal Enfield presented the Super Meteor 650 in two models – the Super Meteor 650 and Super Meteor 650 Tourer.

 

The manufacturer has announced that the Super Meteor 650 is available as a solo tourer in five colors: Astral green, Astral Black, Astral Blue, Interstellar Grey, and Interstellar Green. The Super Meteor 650 Tourer is the grand tourer variant, and it comes in two colors: Celestial Blue and Celestial Red.

The Super Meteor 650 has the same engine as the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, but features a revised head and side panels finished in matte black. This engine can generate 47 Ps of maximum power at 7,250 rpm and 52 Nm of peak torque at 5,650 rpm. The expected price range for this bike is between ₹3.5 lakh and ₹4 lakh (ex-showroom). 

2023 Triumph Street Triple R

Triumph has made a variety of changes to the existing Street Triple model. The 2023 Street Triple will be offered in three variants: R, RS and Moto2. The Moto2 version is a limited edition bike, with only 765 units being produced worldwide.

The Triumph Street comes with distinctive designs and the latest Street series bikes get a few tweaks to make it look sharper and more aggressive. The characteristic twin and bug-eyed headlamps remain the same with modified fly screen. Although there are no visible cosmetic changes, Triumph has worked on the 765cc, inline-triple engine and created a more powerful engine than the bike had previously. 

 

No cosmetic alterations have been made, however Triumph has improved the 765cc, inline-triple engine to produce more power than the previous model.

The Triumph Street has a unique design, and the newest models of the Street series have been given a few alterations to give them a more intense and edgy appearance. The signature twin and bug-eyed headlights are still present, with a revised fly screen. Currently, the Street Triple R costs ₹9.15 lakh and the Street Triple RS is priced at ₹11.35 lakh.

Ducati Diavel V4

The long-awaited power cruiser, the Ducati Diavel V4, has been unveiled globally, and it is anticipated that it will also be available in India. This is in addition to the V4 Granturismo engine that was already used for Ducati’s Streetfighter, Multistrada and Panigale models.

 

The Ducati Diavel V4 is a powerful cruiser bike with an impressive liquid-cooled 1,158 cc engine that produces 165.7 bhp of maximum power at 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed transmission with a quick shifter, fuel-injected, and ride-by-wire. Its design has been updated, though it still retains its classic cruiser look. It has a new headlight and tail light, and quad exhaust pipes mounted on the side.

Suzuki V-Strom 800DE

The Suzuki Motor Corporation recently revealed their latest adventure tourer for the Suzuki family, the V-Strom 800DE. This model is positioned between the V-Strom 1050 and the V-Strom 650, and it will be available for purchase in North America and Europe starting February 2023.

Suzuki has manufactured a 776cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine equipped with the Suzuki Cross Balancer and a 270-degree crankshaft. This motorbike has the potential to produce a maximum power of 83 bhp at 8,500 rpm and the torque output is yet to be revealed. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox and is said to offer a fuel efficiency of 22.7 kmpl.

 

This Suzuki V-Strom 800DE has a ground clearance of 220 mm and a seat height of 855 mm, which might be a bit too tall for some riders. Its dimensions are 2,345 mm long, 975 mm wide, and 1,310 mm high, and it has a kerb weight of 230 kgs and a fuel tank capacity of 20 litres.

The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE has several features, such as ride by wire, fuel injection, Bi-Directional Quick Shift System, Suzuki Easy Start System, Low RPM Assist and a windshield with three adjustable positions. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a USB socket to charge mobile devices, an under protector and knuckle covers.
