Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor was detected coronavirus positive after she returned from London. She was admitted in Luckdown’s Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) where she battled with the virus.
She tested coronavirus negative in the sixth test and that was a sign of relief for her. After she was discharged from the hospital, the singer posted an update on Instagram.

Kanika Kapoor spent time with family after a long time.
“All you need is a warm smile, a warm heart and a warm cup of tea #familytime #lucknowdiaries #stayhomestaysafe (sic).”
She also posted a long post on Instagram in which she said:
The singer further said in a statement:
“Some of these seem to be fuelled even more because I have chosen to be silent till now. I stayed quiet not because I am wrong but in-fact being fully aware that there have been misunderstandings and wrong exchanges of information. I was giving time for the truth to prevail and for people to reach their own realisation (sic),”
Kanika was discharged from the hospital in April after showing no symptoms of COVID-19 and testing negative.
