The death of Tyre Nichols shows us the brutality of the police department.
In a recent update on the Tyre Nichols death case, all of the five police officers were arrested on 26 January.
Tyre Nichols’s autopsy report showed that he suffered extensive bleeding caused by a severe beating.”He died in a hospital on 10 Jan.
Local Activists demanded justice and more transparency from the police during a Memphis City Council on Tuesday.
They demanded body cam footage of the traffic stop and one of the speakers said “We pay for these cameras” We want to see what’s going on.”
Today on the eve of 6:pm body cam footage of Tyre Nichols will be released to the public, President Joe Biden asked for a peaceful protest from the Memphis community and the police want people to maintain calm after the footage is released.

What Charges Imposed on Five Black Police Officers?

Five black Police officers in the Tyre Nichols case all are arrested.
District Attorney of Shelby County, Tennesse Steven J. Mulroy announced second-degree murder charges against the police officers involved.

Five black police officers have been indicted of seven felony charges: one count of Second-degree murder, one of aggravated assault, two of aggravated kidnapping, two of official misconduct, and one of official oppression.

What Exactly Happened to Tyre Nichols?
Many things were unveiled one after the other in Tyre Nichols’s case.
The main evidence is hidden in the Body cam video footage from the night of the traffic shop, which will be released Friday at 6 pm.
At the request of Mr. Nichols’s family attorney Ben Crump, the family watched the footage of Tyre Nichols.
Mr. Nichols’s mother is unable to watch the entire video. Family and lawyer said the video was “disgusting”.

They also compared it to one of the past brutal incidents of Rodney King, who was brutally beaten and murdered by the Los Angeles police in 1991.
He asked in a statement “ How are we here again so many years later?”
