Two new 7-seater variants of MG Hector launched

MG Hector Plus

JSW MG Motor India today launched two new variants of Hector, the first internet SUV in India. Both the new variants have been introduced with 7-seater option. This includes Hector Plus Select Pro and Smart Pro.

Hector Select Pro will get a 1.5 liter petrol engine with CVT transmission, while the Smart Pro variant has been introduced with a 2.0L diesel engine. It has a 6-speed manual transmission. More than 75 connected features have been provided in the car. It has a digital Bluetooth key, which the user can share.

R18 dual tone machined alloy wheels will be available Both the new variants of Hector will get R18 dual tone machined alloy wheels. The new trims have a bold exterior design. The exterior of the car has been made even more beautiful with LED projector headlamps, floating light turn indicators and LED blade connected tail lamps.

Both variants come with a 14-inch HD Portrait infotainment system with wireless Apple Car Play, Android Auto and i-Smart technology, which comes with more than 75 connected features. Other key highlights include a wireless phone charger and push-button start.

The exterior styling features 18-inch dual-tone machined alloy wheels, LED projector headlamps, floating turn indicators and an LED blade-style connected tail lamp. Inside, the Smart Pro model gets a dual-tone Argyle Brown and Black theme with leatherette seats and a power-adjustable driver seat.

MG Hector

MG Hector comes with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Hold Control, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Both variants are covered under MG Shield program which includes 3 years warranty, 3 years roadside assistance and 3 labour-free periodic services.

Hector Plus 7-seater Select Pro has been launched at Rs 19,71,800*, while Smart Pro has been priced at Rs 20,64,800. MG Hector competes with the 5 seater variants of Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700. At the same time, Hector Plus competes with 6 and 7 seater variants of Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar and Mahindra XUV700.
