British company Triumph has launched its two cheapest motorcycles in the Indian market, Speed 400 and Triumph Scrambler 400X. Triumph has launched both these motorcycles in partnership with Bajaj, along with the launch the company has also started booking the bikes. This bike can be booked through the company’s dealership or online by paying an amount of Rs 10,000. According to reports, the company has used the same engine in both the bikes. Triumph has engineered these bikes in-house while their production is being done at Bajaj’s plant. Let us know what is special in Triumph 400X.

- Triumph Scrambler 400X is a street naked motorcycle and is inspired by the Speed Twin 900.
- Whereas Triumph Scrambler 400X is inspired by the company’s powerful bike Scrambler 900.
- Both these motorcycles have a 398cc single-cylinder engine, which generates 40 bhp power and 37.5 Newton meter torque.
- Both Triumph motorcycles have been introduced with 6 speed gearbox.
- Along with DOHC and liquid-cooling setup, features like slip and assist clutch are also provided in these.
- The Speed 400 weighs 170 kg and the Scrambler 400X weighs 190 kg.

- This bike has a 398.15 cc liquid cooled, 4 valve, single cylinder engine.
- This engine will give a maximum power of 40ps at 8000 rpm and torque of 37.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. You will be given 6 speed gearbox in this bike.
- Apart from this, the tank capacity of the bike is 13 liters. Talking about the features, this bike has been given analog speedometer full feature LCD display.
- It gets round LED lighting (headlights, indicators, taillights) with DRLs. The bike uses the same main frame but the bicycle parts have been changed.
- The Triumph Scrambler 400X is constructed on a brand new body and a bolt-on rear subframe with a cast-aluminium swing arm.

The starting price of Triumph Speed 400 is Rs 2.33 lakh. However, the company has also made an offer to attract customers. Under this, the first 10 thousand customers will get this bike 10 thousand rupees cheaper at Rs 2.23 lakh. The company has launched Triumph Scrambler 400X at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2,62,996.

Talking about reviews, this bike has been in the news a lot. I have ridden this bike for more than 100 kilometers in the beautiful valleys of Pune, where I encountered off-road and hilly roads. Through this article, we are going to tell you how was my first riding experience on this bike.
If we talk about look and design in the review
This bike is quite presentable in terms of looks. It also looked quite practical in terms of driving. LED headlamps and tail lamps are available in the front and rear of this bike respectively. Side indicator is also available there. More than 10 Triumph badging will be seen throughout the bike. There is a scroll bar in the middle of the handle bar, on which you will like the Triumph badging printed. The scroll bar is provided so that during an accident the riders head does not hit the handlebar directly. It has a leather split seat. At the same time, a split hand grab grill has been given to support the rear side rider.
Tires and Braking System
Talking about tires and braking, it will get a 19-inch alloy wheel at the front and a 17-inch alloy wheel at the rear. In this you will get dual channel ABS in front and rear. There is a 320 mm fixed disc brake at the front, while a 230 mm fixed disc brake is available at the rear.
Suspension

Riding Experience of Triumph Scrambler 400X
Height can be a big factor in riding this bike. Its ground clearance is 195 mm. Its seat height is 835 mm. Obviously, people whose height is 5.5 feet or less will have some difficulty in handling it. But if you are tall in height then no doubt this can be the best package for you.
Initially, when I rode this bike, I felt a little hesitant because my height is 5.6 feet and this bike weighs 185 kg, so my legs were not coming down completely and I was feeling its weight. As soon as I started this bike and started riding it, my fear completely vanished. The reason was its turning radius and weight distribution. Rode this bike on sharp turns and on rough roads, where this bike turned with less turning radius, while turning the bike, its weight was also felt to be negligible, which shows that the weight distribution in this bike is amazing. .
There is a radiator installed in front of the engine of this bike for engine cooling, due to which this bike does not feel that hot while running for a long time. Its fuel tank capacity is 13 liters and the company claims bike gives a mileage of 28. This means that once you get the foot tank done, you can travel more than 300 kilometers. You can call this bike an all in one bike. You can use it with confidence on the highway, daily commute, offroading.
