A very famous Instagram page known as Taste Atlas shared photos of the menus representing the food that was served on different classes of the ship.

“The Titanic was the most luxurious ship ever and food on that was a big part of the liner’s appeal. Curried chicken, baked fish, spring lamb, mutton, and roast turkey were common menu things, and the pudding was for dessert.

That very night when the Titanic sank, the sunk second-class passengers had plum pudding, also referred to as Christmas pudding. The menu was available for all three classes,” as mentioned in the caption of the post.

There was a clear difference between the menus of all three classes. At the same time, there were a lot of options to pick from in the breakfast for second-class passengers, the third class only gets a restricted set of dishes for breakfast and dinner.

The breakfast in the third class had the options such as Oatmeal porridge and milk, smoked herrings, jacket potatoes, ham and eggs, fresh bread and butter, marmalade, and Swedish bread.

The items of dinner consisted of rice soup, fresh bread, cabin biscuits, roast beef, brown gravy, sweet corn, boiled potatoes, and sweet sauce fruit.
