Sydney Thunder becomes the only team in Big Bash League 22 after scoring only 15 runs in Men’s T20 history.
It looks like all of the batsmen of Sydney Thunder couldn’t stand in front of the Adelaide Strikers bowlers.
All of the team just bowled out in 15 runs in 35 balls. Only 5.5 overs.
Adelaide Strikers showed their best performance and scored 139 runs with only one wicket left.
Three out of four thunder batters were out for ducks.
Adelaide Striker’s best bowler Henry Thronton took five wickets in just 3 overs in the power play.
Wes Agar scalped four wickets from the opposite end.
None of the Sydney batters score double digits and they all sweep out within 5.5 overs.
Strikers bowler Henry Thronton is in disbelief at whatever happened in today’s Big Bash League 22.
Thronton was awarded the Man of the Match trophy at the end of the match.
In post match conference Thronton said “I honestly, cannot believe what just happened. We thought they bowled well. I thought if we hung in long enough, we could get through. I have experienced nothing like that in my life.”
He also continue by saying “We were very clear in what we wanted to execute, wanted to bowl at the top of the stumps. Agar was brilliant, Short’s catch at slip was one of the best I’ve ever seen. We were super disciplined, great performance.”
