Subrata Roy Passed Away: Sahara Group Chairman Subrata Roy Sahara, who had reach from politicians to Bollywood, died in Mumbai on Tuesday. He left this world at the age of 75. Sahara Group issued a statement saying, “With sadness we announce the demise of Subrata Roy Sahara, Managing Worker and Chairman of Sahara India Parivar. Sahara Shree, a visionary and inspirational personality, passed away at 10.30 pm due to cardiac arrest. The statement said Rai was battling cancer which had spread through the body. Apart from this, he also had problems with blood pressure and diabetes. He was admitted to Kokila Ben Hospital on November 12 when his health deteriorated.

Producer Boney Kapoor, Sandeep Singh, screenwriter Mushtaq Sheikh and actress Raai Lakshmi, among others, were seen arriving at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute following the demise of Sahara Group chief Subrata Roy on Tuesday evening.
