On getting the opportunity to become the face of the brand, the actor said, “It started when I started walking for their fashion weeks, so modeling also went on simultaneously. I changed my visa status from B1B to F1B, which is a work visa, which is equivalent to a green card. I also started my own show called Pepito America, it was submitted for the Emmys and we even got it nominated. This is an American show and I am the only Indian in the star cast. “I can’t shoot officially right now, but when my visa is renewed, I will start shooting again. But this time for a different show. My journey from Bathinda to Los Angeles has been amazing, but I am here with my family. I miss it a lot. The biggest disadvantage of living abroad is that I have some friends here, thanks to whom I feel a little like Mumbai.”
Who inspired Vishal Singh to shift abroad?
Vishal Singh told that he was starting to get bored working on TV. In such a situation, he thought of breaking the cycle and shifting to work abroad. Vishal said- I have done TV for about 13-14 years. We used to shoot for 30-40 hours. But now as new actors are coming, they do not like to shoot for more than 10 hours. I still like doing TV, but doing it these days means you forget your personal life. That too for 6-7 months, because you are shooting every day. If I want to return to India and work, I will prefer OTT. In such a situation, I can work in both India and Los Angeles. You will shoot for two months and then come to another place. In the web world, it is not necessary that you be physically present there to give an audition. You can shoot and send. If you get a call then you go, otherwise not.
