Spotify Update: The artificial intelligence-powered “DJ” feature on the music streaming service Spotify has just been released (AI). The new tool, which is currently in beta, will provide a “selected lineup of music along with discussion around the tracks and artists we believe you’ll like in a wonderfully lifelike voice,” the business wrote in a blog post on Wednesday.

Spotify Update: According to the business, the DJ feature is a customized AI assistant that can select what music to play for a user based on their preferences and knowledge of their “music taste. In addition to looking back at some of the users’ older favorites, including tracks they haven’t listened to in years, the new function will also sort the newest music.

Spotify Update: A new AI-powered DJ tool for Spotify has been released; it curates and annotates a custom playlist that is constantly updating. The function, which will first be available to Spotify Premium customers in the US and Canada, aims to improve consumers’ listening experiences.
In a sample video, the AI voice of the major music streaming service appears to imitate the mannerisms of a radio station host, slipping in tidbits of knowledge about the artist or the tune in between songs.
