Like always, this time the South Indian International Film Awards has become a topic of discussion. This is also necessary because the way South films have been dominating since last year, it cannot be praised enough. While last year Bollywood films like 'Lal Singh Chaddha, Samrat Prithviraj, and Shamsera' were flops, South cinema films like 'RRR, KGF 2, Sita-Ramam, and Kantara' achieved immense success.

During this SIIMA Awards, films and artists from different film industries of South Cinema have been honored. Dulquer Salmaan's 'Sita-Ramam' has got the title of best film based on Telugu cinema.
