On Saturday, The Kartik Calling Kartik actor Farhan Akhtar announced that his film company ‘Excel Entertainment’ help police in the battle against the novel Coronavirus. He has pledged that his film company give a contribution to the Mumbai Police Foundation.

The actor and director make this announcement on Twitter and also urged others to shares details of the foundation.
Akhtar tweeted,
“Saluting the courage of those who stay on guard – always! We can’t match their level of selflessness, but we can surely have their backs. We at Excel have pledged to contribute towards safeguarding our Mumbai Police Heroes. What about you? #MumbaiPoliceFoundation.”

Farhan Akhtar and film producer Ritesh Sidhwani, both are the owner of Excel Entertainment.
Last week, Khiladi aka Akshay Kumar had also donated an amount of Rs 2 crore to the Mumbai Police Foundation.
