As we know, video conferencing is the last and best option to see and talk to our loved ones amid Coronavirus lockdown. So, the government of India has launched its own video-conferencing application to improve the security of video-conferencing. This application is known as Say Namaste and rewards for people who wanted to keep security.
This new innovation was made after the Indian government urged everyone to avoid using the Zoom video conferencing app due to privacy and security issues. Various multinational companies have banned the workforce from using Zoom for work.
What Is Say Namaste?
Honestly, Say Namaste is a video conferencing platform that isn’t developed by the Indian government. Inscripts, a Mumbai-based web application, and software development firm, has developed this platform.
The government tweeted,
“#MyGovFactCheck of the Day: A news saying that the Government has launched a video conferencing tool ‘NAMASTE’ to take on ‘unsafe’ Zoom is FAKE! Don’t believe such misinformation! Stay Informed, Stay Safe! #IndiaFightsCorona.”
Say Namaste- How It Works:
For using this video conferencing platform, you need to type https://www.saynamaste.in/ on your web browser and press enter. You can use it on both desktop and smartphone.
So, use Say Namaste for video conferencing and boycott zoom!
