The Redmi 12C, the follow-up to the Redmi 10C, is anticipated to be available in India ahead of MWC 2023 in Barcelona, which will take place from February 27 to March 2. It is likely to have the same design and specifications as its Chinese counterpart, which was introduced as a budget-friendly smartphone in China last year. The Redmi 12C is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.

A report from 91mobiles has revealed that the Redmi 12C will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and will be accompanied by a Mali-G52 GPU. The handset is expected to come with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It sports a 6.71-inch HD+ (1,650x720 pixel) display with a 20:6:9 aspect ratio and has a maximum brightness of 500 nits. It features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera along with a dual rear camera system, comprising of a 50-megapixel primary snapper and a 0.08-megapixel depth sensor.

The most affordable version of the recently launched Redmi 12C budget smartphone is the base 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage model, which is priced at CNY 699 (approximately Rs. 8,400). If you're looking for more storage, you can opt for the 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model, which is priced at CNY 799 (approximately Rs. 9,600). The top-tier 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model will cost you CNY 899 (approximately Rs. 10,800).
