The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G is said to be receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 OS update in the US, with the latest firmware version and November 2022 security patch included.

This update is currently available to select carrier-locked models only. The device was first released with Android 10-based One UI 2.0 in April 2020 and was then upgraded to Android 11 in the beginning of 2021, followed by the Android 12 update in 2022.

According to a recent report by SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G with a carrier-locked version on Sprint and T-Mobile has received the stable version of Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update, with firmware version A135FXXU2BVL2. Additionally, the update is said to come with the November 2022 security patch.

US Samsung Galaxy A71 5G users can manually check if they are due to receive the Android 13 update, which is thought to be the last major OS update for the device, by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

The One UI 5.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 series has now been released for both the LTE and Wi-Fi models. This update, which is based on Android 13, is available for the Wi-Fi model in many parts of Europe such as Romania, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovenia, and Spain. Meanwhile, users in India and a few other regions can get the update on the Galaxy Tab A8 LTE model with firmware versions X205XXU1CVL6 (Europe) and X205XXU1CVL5 (India).
