Ravi Bishnoi has been doing really well in cricket. When players like Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav were not available, Bishnoi got his chance, and he consistently played at a high level. India and South Africa are set to play a 3-match T20 series starting from December 10.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Axar Patel also moved up 16 places each in the rankings. Bishnoi’s consistent good play helped him become the top T20 bowler at just 23 years old.

Bishnoi caught everyone’s eye at the Under-19 World Cup in 2020. Even though India lost to Bangladesh in the final, Bishnoi’s 17 wickets were impressive.

Competing with seasoned players like Jadeja and Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi shines when he gets a chance, with a good economy rate of 7.14. His recent rise to the top of T20 rankings pushed Rashid Khan to second place, with Akshar Patel climbing 16 spots to 11th.

Young Indian batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal made a big jump, climbing 16 places to secure the 19th position among batsmen. Suryakumar Yadav continues to lead. Meanwhile, Australian player Travis Head also moved up 16 places, landing at the 29th spot.

In Test cricket, after the Bangladesh-New Zealand match, Daryl Mitchell climbed one place to seventh in the batsmen’s rankings. He scored 41 and 58 in the first test. Kane Williamson from New Zealand is still the top batsman. Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto soared 13 places to 42nd after an impressive century.

Ashwin from India is still the best bowler in Test cricket, keeping his top spot. The top 10 bowlers remain unchanged. New Zealand’s Kyle Jamieson is back at 13th place after recovering from an injury, and Bangladesh’s Taijul Islam climbed four spots to his best-ever 14th position.

Taijul’s excellent performance, including taking 10 wickets against New Zealand, made him the player of the match and pushed him to 14th place. His 708 rating points are the highest for any Bangladesh bowler, breaking the previous record set by Shakib Al Hasan in August 2017 at 705 points.
