Akshay Kumar is giving back-to-back entertainment dramas and on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the actor gave a big surprise to all his fans. Once again, he was seen in the role of brother and not as a hero trying to impress his girlfriend.
Rakshabandhan movie is a time travel to 90s movie that focuses on dowry pratha in society and also shows the brother-sister bond. Aanand L.Rai somehow managed to bring back this lost concept with humour and a sensitive issue.

The Aanand L. Rai Film Raksha Bandhan follows the story of a middle-aged unmarried man Lala Kedarnath (Akshay Kumar), who wants to marry his childhood love Sapna (Bhumi Pednekar).
But this time, our hero has a very serious and relatable problem. He has four different varieties of younger sisters and all of them are old enough to get married.
First one Sadia is perfect, second Deepika is too fat, third Smrithi is too dark and last Sahejameen is a tomboy.
So, It’s getting very hard for Kedarnath to get his sisters married. And all this mess gets you into a roller coaster ride of laughter, emotions and drama.

What I loved the most about the film is the beautiful balance it brings in terms of emotions.
