After Good News, Selfie, Brothers, 2.0, Kesari, and Sooryavanshi, now Akshay Kumar is all set for his seventh collaboration with Karan Johar. The film is a biopic of former Indian lawyer C Sankaran Nair.
In the movie, Akshay will play the lead role of C Sankaran Nair, whereas Ananya Pandey will join him as his junior lawyer. And now, as per the reports of Pinkvilla, R Madhavan has also joined the show.

According to a source close to the project, R Madhavan only sign characters or content-driven movies that demand him to push the boundaries.

He made the decision to join the film after being shocked by the C Sankaran Nair biopic’s script. He will portray the role of a lawyer whose personality is modelled after someone from C Sankaran Nair’s time period.
In reality, there is a specific dynamic that they share in the movie, therefore both Akshay and Madhavan have participated in numerous script reading sessions. The reports also say that both superstars will play the role of lawyers.
However, the story of the movie will show us the world after Jallianwallah Baug Massacre. Akshay Kumar will portray the role of C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who bravely fought against the Britishers to uncover the truth.
