After Breaking Box Office Records, Pathaan is Set to Release on this OTT Platform

Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan has recently made his grand comeback after four years of break. His new movie Pathaan is breaking back-to-back records at the Indian box office.

Despite facing massive backlash in India, the film has collected around INR 284 Crore in its first weekend. Talking of worldwide figures, the movie has collected around INR 540 to 550 Crore.

Apart from this, Pathaan’s opening day collection is INR 55 Crore, which is the highest of all time. So, it means the audience likes the film and it will cross the 1000 Crore mark very soon.

And now, the latest updates disclosed that the makers of the film sold its OTT rights to Amazon Prime Video. Check the details below.

Pathaan Will Be Available on Amazon Prime Video SoonPathaan

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's starrer Pathaan was released in theatres on January 25, 2023. And now the reports say that Amazon Prime Video has recently purchased the OTT rights of the film for INR 100 Crore.

However, the OTT release date is not confirmed yet. But, by seeing the box office performance of the film, it will take two-three months more. As per the reports of Times Now, Pathan will be digitally released in April.

Things You Need to Know About PathaanPathaan

Pathaan is the fourth film of Siddharth Anand’s YRF Spy Universe, after Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and War (2019).

The film basis on RAW agent Pathaan (Shahrukh Khan), who is on a mission to take down Outfit X, a terrorist organisation that is planning attacks on India. John Abraham is playing the role of the main antagonist in the film, leader of Outfit X organisation.

Apart from SRK and John, the film also features dimple queen Deepika Padukone. She is a Pakistani agent in the film, who offers her help to Pathaan.
