Famous American Doll Maker is facing criticism for misleading young girls and triggering them. The guidebook is focused to operate young kids of age 12 or below. However, the American Girl Book contains extremely misleading content. The book guides young girls to change their gender without their parent’s consent “If you don’t have an adult you trust”

Mel Hammond, the Author of the book says that every girl should live with freedom and make changes to her body. The book interprets to keep you happy by making changes in the body.

The 96th page of the book contains image content related to the transgender rights flag. The page also features an image that shows a young girl consulting a doctor for gender change.

The featured guidebook by the doll company has angered parents as its motive is misleading. Young kids aren’t mature enough to react to such things. The content might lead them to possess a change that’s not even of their choice.

 

A phrase from the book refers that you might be uncomfortable with your body part and might want to change and that’s “Totally OK”

 

Parents took it to social media and raged against the motive of the company. People left negative comments on the posts and said they will boycott the brand and its products entirely.

The books from this publication are famous for teaching the young generation about women’s empowerment, their history, and femininity. However, American Girl Book is now known for being criticized which would significantly affect the value of the company.

 

Pleasant Rowland created the American Girl Company for production of dolls; it was later bought by Mattel in 1998. Ever since then the company produced dolls and published books to teach girls about ethics, morals, and hygiene.
