There is Only One Game-Changer Player, Jasprit Bumrah: Today was not a good day for Travis Head, who became the biggest headache for India in the title match of the ICC World Test Championship, the final of the ODI World Cup and then the Border Gavaskar series.
On the first day of the fourth Test against Australia, Head was easily dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah for zero. He had scored two centuries in this series and single-handedly troubled the Indian bowlers. He played an innings of 152 runs at Brisbane Gabba, while he scored 140 runs in the Adelaide Day-Night Test.
Rohit Sharma’s Masterstroke
The Kangaroos would have expected similar batting from Head in the Boxing Day Test as well, but here Jasprit Bumrah had the upper hand. He bowled him out on the third ball of the 67th over. In the 66th over, Marnus Labuschagne was dismissed by Washington Sundar on a personal score of 72 runs, and then Travis Head came to the field. He faced 5 balls in Sundar’s over, but could not open his account. In the very next over, captain Rohit Sharma handed the ball to Bumrah.

Jasprit Bumrah Seed dismissed Head for zero!
Bumrah Seed played Bumrah’s first ball and took 3 runs. After this, Head could not score a run on the second ball, while Head was fooled on the third ball. He thought that the ball would go out. He was fully prepared to leave it. Instead of going out, the ball went to the off stump. Head lifted his leg and waved the bat in the air. By the time he could understand anything, the bail of the off stump had flown in the air. In this way, he was out without opening the account.
It is worth noting that earlier in the match, the Australian team won the toss and decided to bat first. Sam Constas made his debut from their side. There was news about Travis Head that he was injured, but before the Melbourne Test, he passed the fitness test and was declared fit for the match.
