Anil had started his filmy career from the 1983 movie " Woh 7 Din." He played the role of a singer named Prem who fell in love with Maya ( Padmini Kolhapure)

Both get separated by destiny wherein Maya was forced to marry and attempted suicide on her big day. However, his husband-to-be ( Naseeruddin Shah) decided to reunite both Maya and Prem but it didn't happen as planned. And the movie end without the reunion of lover.

This was a remake of Tamil film Andha 7 Naatkal.

OMG! Mr. India Is A Trained Classical Singer

Many fans don't know that Anil is not only a star actor, but a great singer too. He got training in semi-classical singing and has also sung for movies. The very first song was in his first movie 'Woh 7 Din'

Later, he gave his voice to song " I Love You" which is a popular song from the 2000 movie " Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai." And he hasn't stopped singing after coming into mainstream Bollywood.

This talented star has really got a great voice and he has sung a kannada song at the Ganesh Utsav festival in Bengaluru once. He was in the Naguva Nayana song of Movie " Pallavi Anu Pallavi."

First Film Debut

1983 movie was not Anil's first Bollywood movie, he had appeared in the film " Hamare Tumhare" which was released in 1979. However, he was offered a small role in the movie as Vipin.

Indeed the story was brilliant and Anil won the hearts of millions in the movie. He has also worked in other international projects- Mission Impossible starrer Tom Cruise, and 24 as producer and main lead.

Anil Kapoor is at present shooting for the film " Jug Jugg Jeeyo" with Kiara Advani, and Varun Dhawan. The cast celebrated his birthday on the set, here's the clip:
