The Motorola Edge 60s smartphone is going to launch in the Chinese market soon. The company has confirmed the launch date of this upcoming device as well as its design and color options. The Motorola Edge 60s will be introduced alongside the Motorola Edge 60 lineup and the Motorola Razr 60 clamshell-style foldable series, which were launched in select markets last month. The company has also revealed the RAM, storage variants and some build details of the Motorola Edge 60s smartphone. It seems that it will come with a design like the existing Edge 60 series models.
Motorola Edge 60s Launch Date, Design, and Color Options
The company said in a Weibo post that the Motorola Edge 60s will be launched in China on May 8. The company says that the handset has an IP68 + IP69 rating, which stands for dust and water resistance. Like the company’s other handsets, the Edge 60s is also expected to support artificial intelligence (AI) features.
The official listing of the Motorola Edge 60s reveals that the handset will come in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB RAM and storage configurations. The phone will be available in Glacier Mint, Misty Iris, and Polar Rose colour options.

- Display: According to the leak, the Motorola Edge 60s smartphone will launch with a big 6.7-inch screen. It is being said that this will be a curved-edge display which will be built on a POLED panel. This phone may have a 1.5K pixel resolution. Along with the 120Hz refresh rate, this display fingerprint sensor technology can also be given in the Motorola Edge 60S.
- Processor: The Motorola Edge 60S 5G phone can be launched on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. It is an octa-core processor built on 4-nanometer fabrication which includes Cortex-A55 cores with 2GHz clock speed and Cortex-A78 cores capable of running at clock speeds up to 2.6GHz.
- Camera: For photography, this upcoming 5G phone from Motorola can be brought on a dual rear camera setup. According to the leak, a 50-megapixel main camera can be given on its back panel. It is being said to be Sony LYT-700C sensor, which will be equipped with OIS technology. Along with this, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide + macro sensor can be found on the back panel of the phone. For selfie and video calling, the Motorola Edge 60s 5G phone can be launched in the market equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera.
- Battery: For power backup, a powerful 5,500mAh battery can be given in Motorola Edge 60s 5G phone. At the same time, to charge this big battery fast, 68W fast wired charging technology and 15W fast wireless charging technology can be found in the phone.
- Other Features: If the leak is to be believed, this 5G phone of Motorola will be brought with IP68 + IP69 rating, which will help in keeping it safe from water and dust. At the same time, if the body of this mobile is strong, then it will also be able to withstand light drops. In the leak, the weight of this phone is stated to be 190 grams and the thickness is 8.2mm . This smartphone can be brought in Mint, Pink and Purple colors.
