Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: Motorola India has started announcing the launch of a new smartphone in the country via Flipkart. The short teaser clip released on the e-commerce platform does not reveal the phone’s marketing name, but it hints that it could be the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion. This comes after alleged renders of the Edge 60 Fusion leaked online recently.
Teaser for new Motorola phone
- The launch teaser for a new Motorola phone has gone live on the Flipkart mobile app.
- The video clip reads “#MotoEdgeLegacy”, confirming that it is part of the Edge series.
- The clip, which now seems to have been changed or updated, was originally accompanied by the tagline “Experience the Edge, Live the Fusion”, which suggests that it could be the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion.
- The listing has now been updated to read “Experience the Extraordinary.” Motorola is promoting it as a “game-changing phone.”
- The listing also confirms that the handset will be available on Flipkart just like other Motorola Edge models. Apart from the teaser video, the Flipkart listing does not currently reveal any information about the phone or its launch timeline, but since the teasers have been released, more information is expected to be revealed in the coming days.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: What will be special?
- Many reports have surfaced regarding the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion smartphone. According to 91Mobiles, this Motorola phone can have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, the company launched the Edge 50 Fusion in India in two variants of 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.
- The leaked renders show that the Edge 60 Fusion smartphone will be launched in Blue, Pink and Purple color options. This phone will have a center punch hole for the selfie camera sensor.
- Along with this, the phone will have a curved display. Along with this, the power button and volume rocker will be available on the right side of the phone.
- A square camera module will be available in the rear panel of the phone. It will have a triple rear camera setup and LED flash. The company has upgraded the camera setup.
- Earlier, the company had given a dual camera setup in the Edge 50 Fusion. If reports are to be believed, the primary camera of the upcoming phone will be a 50MP Sony LYT OIS sensor, which is seen in the camera.
Talking about the price of Motorola Edge 60 Fusion smartphone, its base variant with 8 GB RAM can be offered at a price of 350 Euros (about Rs 33,100). Earlier, Motorola launched the Edge 50 Fusion last year at an initial price of Rs 22,999.
