Microsoft’s Bing Is Now No Longer On Waitlist; Know Details

Microsoft

Microsoft revealed today that the new Bing search engine, which is driven by AI, is no longer on a waitlist and is now in open preview. The business also disclosed the expansion of Image Creator’s functionalities and some new additions to Bing Chat.

Enhanced Bing Chat functionality

With the addition of richer, more detailed replies that will now contain charts, graphs, and improved style, Bing is becoming more visually appealing. According to Microsoft, this will make it easier for you to find the information you need.

Soon, users of Bing Chat will have access to their conversations through a chat history that they can share and export. With this capability, users will also be able to access earlier chats in Bing Chat.

Last but not least, Microsoft is allowing developers to create third-party plugins for the Bing Chat experience, much as the plugins that ChatGPT Plus users enjoy.

For instance, according to the business, if you’re looking up the newest restaurant for dinner in Bing Chat, it will use OpenTable to assist you in finding and making a reservation.

A Bing on Edge browser that is more versatile

Microsoft is releasing Edge actions: “If you want to watch a particular movie, actions in Edge will find and show you options in chat in the sidebar and then play the movie you want from wherever it’s available.”

Microsoft Edge’s Chat will include enhanced summarization features for extensive publications, such as lengthy PDFs and longer-form webpages.

Updated functions for Image Creator

You may take photos in your native language thanks to Bing’s expansion of Image Creator to more than 100 languages. Microsoft also said that it is developing a tool that will enable users to upload photographs and utilize Bing to look up relevant web articles.
